Project Team

Allen Harris, President and NARI

Certified Remodeler

Allen Harris has been involved in renovation work since the age of 12, when his father became his mentor in the remodeling business. His main motivation at ALH is delivering unique and personal designs to each invaluable client while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty by continuing his own education and professional growth in the remodeling industry. Allen has been leading the ALH team since 1999.

Allen finds recreation in motorcycle touring, trail riding and squash. But his primary passion and life focus are his wife Becky and twin daughters Madeline and Eleanor.

Becky Harris, Managing Partner

Since meeting my husband Allen in June of 2008, I have been an avid fan and partner in ALH.

As my background comes from Grand Street Café and The National Golf Club, hospitality and client satisfaction is my focus. The remodeling industry has introduced me to a whole new field of individuals who know what they want. I am thrilled to be a part of this team.

My time away from ALH is spent with my twin daughters Madeline and Eleanor. I also enjoy the remodeling projects at our home working one on one with Allen.

Rob Dagley, Operations Manager and NARI Certified Remodeler

My Name is Rob Dagley and I’m from Excelsior Springs, Mo. I’m the Operations Manager @ ALH Home Renovations. The best definition for my job title @ ALH Home Renovations is, “Choreographer of organized chaos”. I believe that when a project is well organized and managed that it increases the customer’s satisfaction with their remodeling process. I have been in the remodeling industry for the past 20 years.

I like to hang out with my family while watching my boys grow up in the country in a small community. My favorite restaurant is a local Japanese Steak House, Kobe. I appreciate a lazy Sunday afternoon watching the Royals play a game or watching a NASCAR race while I catnap on the couch.

Megan Heese, Designer

Megan graduated from Park University with a B.A. in Interior Design and a minor in Fine Art. Her passion for design comes from her parents, who have always pushed her to follow her dreams and to do what makes her happy. In her spare time, Megan enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her friends and family.

Graham Houston, Operations Manager

Graham Houston has worked most of his career in the non-profit sector, primarily in higher education administration. He also has extensive work and volunteer experience with affordable housing most notably with Habitat for Humanity and continuing today with the Fuller Center for Housing. This work includes building, renovating and repairing homes with low-income families in need of decent, safe and affordable housing.

Graham joined ALH Home Renovations in September 2015 as Operations Manager for Struktur LLC, a subsidiary of ALH and the Certified Referral Partner of Traemand Installation Services that specializes in IKEA kitchen installations. Graham helps weave together general contracting services with Traemand Installation Services to provide customers a seamless remodeling experience with an exceptional and affordable product.

Neil Schultz, Lead Carpenter

Neil Schultz has a background in studio art and received his Bachelor of Arts from Sonoma State University. He has been a carpenter for over 20 years with the opportunity to have worked on a range of projects in both commercial and residential buildings throughout the San Fransisco Bay Area. In the year 2000 he joined a prestigious residential design/built company and started remodeling and building custom homes with a focus on universal design for aging in the home and green build practices with sustainable products all done in a variety of styles including old world, craftsmen, retro, and contemporary. Some of the highlights in his career were managing projects that became published in books and magazines and a TV documentary, The Forever Home: Going Green on PBS.

Neil moved to Kansas with his wife and 4 daughters in 2014 and bought a log cabin home in the woods with acreage that has turned into their own personal petting zoo with llama, alpaca, goats, peacocks, pheasant, chickens, turkeys, bunnies, cats, and dogs.

Melissa Young, Interior Designer

Melissa loves to be creative and strategic, which is why becoming an Interior Designer was an easy choice. She graduated from Johnson County Community College with an Associate’s degree in Interior Design and Kitchen and Bath Design. She has been in the furniture industry since 2014 as a Designer and understands the importance of space planning and functionality. “It all starts with the space you have to work with. So being in the remodeling industry, it becomes more of a ‘make the space work for you’ instead of later on ‘you making the space work’.” Melissa has been with ALH since April 2018. She loves to spend time with her husband, 2 dogs, and cat.
